Environmentally friendly wood preservative system that gives a beautiful silver-grey terrace

Now it's time for spring maintenance of terraces, summer houses, balconies, patio furniture, simply of all exterior wood. This timing makes it extra exiting to present a non-toxic alternative for wood preservative products that really work.

Traditionally wood preservatives use poison such as heavy metals, biocides and fungicides to kill rot fungus and microorganisms in the wood. Since a few years, OrganoWood is supplying an alternative wood protection system that us both non-toxic to humans and the ennvironment. Now, this system is complemented with an environmentally friendly wood cleaning system, eco-labelled with the Swedish Society for Nature Conservations eco-label Good Environmental Choice.

OrganoWoods NON-TOXIC & ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY preservative system now consists of 3 products.

01 Protection; Flame & Rot Protection creates a physical barrier in the wood to prevent fungus from attacking the wood. The method also gives the timber flame retardant properties. The wood retains its natural colour after treatment and with time it becomes a beautiful shade of silver-grey. Eco-labelled with the SSNC "Good Environmental Choice".

02 Repellent; Dirt & Water Repellent is an environmentally friendly finishing of wood surfaces to minimize the maintenance of your wood products. Wood treated wood is given an improved protection against dirt and water. This is of course also with a non-toxic solution!

03 Cleaner (NEW): is a non-toxic detergent for cleaning wooden surfaces outdoors. A super concentrate used for cleaning lightly or heavily dirty surfaces. Eco-labelled with the SSNC "Good Environmental Choice".

Typical applications well suited for OrganoWoods wood preservative systems are; pressure-treated green wood that has turned dark and dull. Here you will receive a beautiful bright surface which also becomes water repellent and significantly smoother. Also fences, railings, furniture, etc. can treated.

"After over 10 years of research, it feels incredible that our Swedish produced products now are available to consumers all over the world and that everyone has the opportunity to use environmentally friendly and non-toxic wood preservative for the treatment of their outdoor environments," said Jens Hamlin, CEO of OrganoWood.

OrganoWoods wood products are sold in the building trade and in paint specialty stores.

If you are building a new deck, facade, fences or other wooden structure in your outdoor environment there is also OrganoWoods non-toxic and environmentally friendly modified timber. This timber is pre-treated with OrganoWoods wood protection systems.
