OrganoTex-treated polyamide developed with Smart textile

OrganoClick has succesfully developed a number of OrganoTex-treated polyamide fabrics in collaboration with the Scandinavian outdoor brands Haglöfs, Klättermusen, Norröna, Bergaans of Norway and Houdini.

The projects aim was to succesfully implement OrganoClick's fluorocarbon-free and biodegradable durable water repellent (DWR) technology OrganoTex in several polyamide fabrics picked by the outdoor-brands. "The results are very promising. All fabrics have good performance prior to wash but also show very good durability  even after 20 washes", says Robin Grankvist, Business area manager, Performance Textiles & Nonwoven, at OrganoClick.

The project has been financed by Smart textiles, an affiliate to the textile school at Borås University and has been performed together with Swedish research institute Swerea. For more info, see the projects official press-release in Swedish here.
