OrganoClick's co-owned affiliate OrganoWood has signed a sales and distribution agreement with Woodex Ltd for the British and Irish markets. The agreement gives Woodex Ltd an exclusive right to sell and distribute OrganoWoods canned wood treatment products in cans to building suppliers and paint stores in Great Britain and Ireland.
During 2015 OrganoWood initiated a collaboration regarding sales and distribution with the wood treatment distributor Welin & Co for the Swedish market. Welin & Co has under the agreement sold and distributed OrganoWoods canned wood treatment products to Swedish building suppliers and paint stores. The collaboration has been very successful with greatly increased sales volumes of these products for OrganoWood.
OrganoWood now takes the next step and started its international expansion of its wood treatment products by initiating strategic collaborations with local sales and distribution partners on different geographical markets. Earlier this year a collaboration with Sarbon Woodwise Oy in Finland was announced. The next step is the agreement with Woodex Ltd for the British and Irish markets.
"We are very happy to initiate the collaboration with Woodex Ltd for the British and the Irish markets. They are a well-established distributor of high quality wood treatment products with a strong sales force covering both Great Britain and Ireland. With this agreement in place, we now enter one of Europe’s largest markets for wood treatment products", says Jens Hamlin, MD OrganoWood.
"We look forward in starting the collaboration with OrganoWood. We truly believe in this product which with its eco-profile and high quality is in line with the current trends", says Steve Grimwood, MD Woodex.
The agreement is an exclusive agreement with a term of three years conditioned by purchase of certain annual minimum quantities.
