Press-release - OrganoWood in collaboration with Welin & Co

OrganoClick's daughter company OrganoWood starts collaboration with the Swedish wood treatment distributor Welin & Co. The collaboration concerns distribution of OrganoWood's wood treatment system for surface applications on the Swedish market.

OrganoWood has since 2012 supplied and delivered OrganoWood-modified timber and wood treatment products to the Swedish building market. The products has been sold through building suppliers such as K-rauta, Optimera, XL-BYGG, and Bygma. Currently some 130 building suppliers are reselling OrganoWood's products.

In order to enhance the distribution of OrganoWoods wood treatment products, sold to consumers and professional painters, a collaboration has now been initiated with the specialty wood treatment distributor Welin & Co. Entering into this distribution agreement opens up new sales channels for OrganoWood's wood treatment products such as specialized stores for paint and wood treatment products. Welin & Co has since many years been a supplier to Swedish paint stores such as Colorama, Happy Homes and Nordsjö färg & design and are supplying approximately 500 stores in Sweden with its products.

"We believe that the collaboration with Welin & Co considerably will increase the network of resellers of OrganoWood's wood treatment products. Through Welin & Co consumers and professional painters all over Sweden will get access to OrganoWood's wood treatment system", says Mårten Hellberg, CEO of OrganoWood.

"It feels very exciting to be able to provide an environmentally labelled wood treatment product of high quality. We have with interest followed OrganoWood's start on the market for modified wood", says Björn Törnquist, Managing Director at Welin & Co.
