At OrganoClick, reducing our climate impact is a core part of how we operate. Our production facility runs entirely on 100% renewable electricity, making it possible for us to maintain very low direct emissions (Scope 1). From blending and pumping to packaging and transport within our site, every step of our chemical production is powered by clean energy — including our company vehicles.
While renewable electricity significantly reduces our emissions, it still generates some indirect emissions (Scope 2) during its production. To address this, our energy supplier compensates for any unavoidable emissions.
The majority of our carbon emissions come from indirect sources (Scope 3) — particularly the production of raw materials and logistics. These emissions are more complex to measure, but also the most important to address. That’s why we are currently focused on improving our data collection methods in these areas to enable suitable reduction targets and action plans.
Our emissions reporting is based on a combination of primary data from our operations and a combination of primary and secondary data from suppliers and industry benchmarks. For more details, we invite you to explore our latest Sustainability Report.
